First Draft of Something Special

if i could write it! i would.
Save the first draft of something special
and not mark the pages of grammar mistakes
and missed word usages and
not ruin the template with Coffee rings and un-needed
un-wanted red signs of disapproval

i would congratulate it for being so plain
and so childish.

i would make sure that gold star...the only one
in the book of stickers would be at the top
of F.D.S.S...Yes i would make sure.

but only if i could Write it!
I would on a small piece of loose
leaf
and i'd give it to somebody special
but it's hard to save the first draft
of something special
to give up something special

i want to hold on to it
and convince my self that i made
and i gave it more...i Wrote it
But i can't keep it i know

i have to share it...
but know i think i'll burn it
cause i don't want anyone to have it

but someday i'll really...Write it!
